Autism may be higher than 1:100 children, 4 times as common in boys as in girls
Onset : either at birth or late onset - after vaccinations
Contributing factors : Malnutrition, maldigestion, dysbiosis, vitamin K and calcium dysregulation, heavy metal toxicity also linked to this condition.
Characteristics of Autism spectrum disorder:
* Speech difficulties
* Abnormal posture/gestures
* Impaired understanding
(probably due to severe internal pain)
* Fears, phobias, anxieties
* Sensory disperceptions
* Obsessive-compulsive behavior
* Ritualistic movements,
* Insistence on routines
* Lining up objects
* Echolalia (automatic repetition of vocalizations made by another person)
Causes of Aurism
Cause #1. Vaccines
Amish children, who are not vaccinated, rarely, if ever, develop autism. Vaccinations, Mercury & Autism
This is exactly what has been observed over the past 10 to 15 years. In the 1950's infants received 25 to 50 mcg mercury via vaccinations. The autism rate in the 1950's was about 2 in 10,000. The addition of another DPT vaccine in early infanthood became commonplace in the 1970's, and a small rise in the autism incidence rate was noted. In 1988, infants began receiving a Hib vaccination at 2,4, and 6 months, each vaccine containing 25 mcg of mercury. Then, in 1991, the hepatitis B vaccine was "mandated", with the first vaccination given within a few days of birth and 2 additional vaccines given during the 1st 6 months of life. Each hepatitis B vaccine contained 12.5 mcg Hg.
Cause #2. Toxic Metals
All children with autism, without exception, have excessive amounts of toxic metals in the brain. This is beyond dispute, in my mind, based on hair analysis research on these children. Hair tissue mineral testing is an excellent research tool with autism, by the way.
Cause #3. All Autistic Children Seem to Have Difficulty Eliminating Toxic Metals
This concept is a key to autism that must not be overlooked. Removal of toxic metals is necessary for complete reversal of this serious condition.
Cause #4. Toxic Chemicals
These are present in everyone, but may be especially high in some autistic children. These toxins come directly from the mother during gestation, or they may be acquired after birth.
Cause #5. Leaky Gut Syndrome
Most autistic children have food reactions or sensitivities. These tend to worsen some symptoms. The most common of these appear to be strong negative reactions to cow milk protein or casein, wheat protein or gluten, and sometimes to other foods such as soy protein.
Cause #6. Nutritional Deficiencies
Without exception, all autistic children are malnourished, usually from birth. This has to do with the nutrition of their mothers. All children born in the Western world today are malnourished to some degree.
We test for heavy metals, methylation factors and GI tract issues and treat accordingly.
